Chapter 12. Poisson Summary
At her appointment, Fish checks Lucy and her diabetes, he seems to be concerned. Lucy talks to Fish about the problems she is having in school and with her parents. Lucy has already told Fish about her theory on vampires so it isn't anything new to him. Fish tries to reason with Lucy by pointing out if school is already so boring to her that maybe she should just do her homework because it wouldn't hurt. Lucy begins to vent to Fish that her life is being a teenager who has to deal with not having her computer, dealing with her parents, and worrying about her insulin reactions. Knowing that her parents don't have anymore children because they don't want to bring another diabetic child into the world only makes things worse.
