Chapter 35, Il n'y a pas de mouches sur la grandmère Summary
Doc is in his laboratory terrified of going over to see Suzy to give her a box of candy and is arguing with himself as to why he should go. After going back and forth for a while he realizes that he can't be whole without her and needs to know that he tried. Doc goes to the boiler announcing his formal call and Suzy accepts the candy and lets him in but as he is crawling in the cuff of his pant leg gets caught and Suzy has to help him. Doc is impressed with the home Suzy has made and Suzy is proud of herself too. She lets him know that she doesn't need anyone's help, she paid Joe Blaikey back...
