Chapter 20, Sweet Thursday (2) Summary

First thing Thursday morning, Fauna goes over to Doc's Laboratory with the intention to talk to him about Suzy. She brings him some beers along with a shrunken head as a gift. Doc invites Fauna to join him for breakfast, he is making sausages dusted with cocoa, a combination he picked up while on his travels. Fauna asks Doc what he thinks about Suzy and he tells her that "She slapped me in the face with a few basic truths". Fauna then asks dock to do her a favor and take Suzy out on a date, she will even pay for the date. Fauna explains that Suzy doesn't really fit in at the Bear Flag because she isn't a good hustler. Fauna tells Doc how Suzy wants someone to talk to her like a girl, and she is hoping...
