Chapter 16, The Little Flowers of Saint Mack Summary
Doc is in his laboratory working with his specimens and for a short moment he starts to feel like he used to, even his "voices" have calmed down. Mack comes to visit him and asks Doc if he is going to keep working with the octopi since they were making him sick. Doc explains that the octopi were not making him sick; it was just that he was thinking too much.
