Chapter 7, Tinder Is as Tinder Does Summary
Joseph and Mary likes Fauna but doesn't feel that women should be business owners. He has believes that men should have the power and that women need to be dependent on men. Joseph and Mary hopes that one day he can move in on Fauna's Bear Flag and take control of it so that he can somehow profit from her business.
Fauna is at the grocery when Joseph and Mary points out that he has noticed Suzy and that she doesn't seem like a good "hustler". Fauna admits that she knows this but that in a way she is doing Suzy a service and taking one for the team.
