Summary
Babe is throwing her final luncheon, a carefully crafted event she planned in the months leading up to her death. Although she is now gone, the rest of the Swans see her everywhere at the lunch and take special notice of the gardens she so meticulously cared for in her Kiluna home. The Swans also take note of the closeness between Bill and Slim at the lunch. They realize that they were the two closest to Babe, but they question how intimate they are together. Being that it is Babe’s memorial, however, they refrain from making any indecent comments.
