Summary
Kiwi imagined what it might be like when he saw his father next. He hoped his father would be proud of him. He continued to try to call home. His concern increased when he got only a busy signal. Instead of going to see his father, Kiwi went to see his grandfather. He found him on the deck outside the central cabin of the retirement home. He asked his grandfather if he knew his father was working at a casino. Kiwi questioned his grandfather about his father’s job but doesn’t get any answers. He told his grandfather that Hilola had died. When he didn’t get any reaction he told him he was working for the competitor, the World of Darkness.
