Summary
In April, two weeks before his exams, Swami notices his father becoming more irritable and stricter. In school all his friends become increasingly anxious as well. At home, Swami spends time with his baby brother, who he has begun to find interesting. He wants to go out and play with his friends, but his father has forbidden him from doing so until after exams. Two days before Exams, he makes a list of supplies and brings it to his father while he works. Swami’s father becomes annoyed with his son, giving him some supplies but reminding him that he is not made of rupees, and asking him to tell his mother to stop the baby from crying.
