Section 8 The Diary pp. 127-151. Summary
Suzanne wants to tell Nicky all about the wedding. She and Matt are married in the Gay Head Community Church which is the oldest Indian Baptist church in the country. The chapel ceiling corners have carved angels. The church is beautiful and magical for Suzanne. There is standing room only with all Matt's friends as well as doctors from Boston and some of Suzanne's patients.
Suzanne loved the snow that was falling that day. At the end of the ceremony, Matt and Suzanne had an inside blizzard of angels, clouds, and doves. Satin pouches of feathers were opened and feathers came down from the ceiling. They were married just before the year changed. They started the New Year as Mr. and Mrs. Suzanne again says that everything was magical. The whole marriage is magical.
The honeymoon had been magical...
