Matt tells Nicky that his mommy has had a heart attack. Matt had watched her get into her jeep to go pick up Nicky's birthday present. Matt wishes he had kissed her. She had her hands full and had blown him a kiss. He wishes he had stopped what he was doing and gone to her. He wishes he could hold her just one more time. Matt tells Nicky that the accident wasn't Suzanne's fault. She was always a careful driver. Dr. Cotter told Matt that she had died instantly. The Jeep had swerved into the guard rail and gone into the creek below. Matt had gone to Abel's Hill to choose a spot for mommy.
