Section 11 Katie pp. 207-213. Summary
Katie shuts the diary again and looks for something normal. She thinks of her friends the Browns. Phil and Lynn and their four children. They seem like a sane and happy family. There can be happy endings. Katie gives the grown-ups a night out while she stays with the kids. She enjoys the kids and does everything they want to do. For Katie, it is Lynn who says she will be a great mom. Before Katie leaves the Brown's, she tells them about the pregnancy. On her way home on the train, she pulls out the diary.
Katie is learning things from the diary. The glass balls are a big thing. Work is the rubber ball. She has been taking too much care of work. Now she has a new glass ball in her life, the baby...
