Section 4 Diary pp. 55-73. Summary
Suzanne describes her new life and how comfortable she is. From a Boston doctor who is part of the rat race, she is now the laid back country doctor. She has a new neighbor, Melanie Bone. Melanie is the perfect neighbor who has anything one needs to borrow and all the information about the town and the people in it. She also has four daughters who are stair steps. Suzanne tells how she calls the girls Number One, Number Two, etc. She can't remember their names.
Suzanne goes to Matt Wolfe's party. It wis the usual high society party that Suzanne had attended in her previous life. She knows she has really changed as she realizes how uncomfortable this life makes her.
