Chapters 14, 13, 12 & 11 Summary
After staying at the Ronald McDonald house, the three need a way out of New Orleans. They decide to travel the way Adam has been traveling throughout the country unnoticed. He has been hopping on manufactured trailer houses. The houses are delivered from state to state. The three sneak into one of the houses while the driver eats at a gas station. They plan to jump on different houses and ride them all the way to Nebraska.
While on the trip, Tender begins to have panic attacks. His muscles are beginning to sag, his body is changing as he has not had his regular dosage of drugs and steroids.
