Chapters 17, 16, & 15 Summary

In the New Orleans airport, Tender is in another bathroom stall waiting for Fertility. It is the Super Bowl, and she still has not given him his miracle. He has been waiting in the bathroom stall for over two hours, while his agent, bride, and media team wait outside. Finally, Fertility shows up. She tells Tender that she knew he would betray her, but she was upset that he called her a harlot on national TV. She then tells him that Adam is here. Tender looks over to the left stall. In the hole in the wall, there is a gun pointed at him. Adam tells him from the other side that he had a loaded gun with six bullets, and one will definitely find him. Fertility assures Tender that Adam will not kill him.
