Chapters 28, 27, 26 & 25 Summary
On the way home from the airport, Tender gets his first lesson on the inner workings of the PR company he has decided to work with. One of the company's many ventures is to create and trademark drug names. While in the limo, the agent beings taking ChemoSolv, a cure for cancer. ChemoSolv has not actually been invented yet, but when it is, the PR and marketing team already have a name and brand image for the drug. The agent is really only taking sugar pills.
The agency does not only do this with drugs. They have also done this for Tender's career. Before they even knew Tender would be the last Creedish, they began creating the marketing for the last survivor. His company has been tracking who the last Creedish would be for the last 6 months.
