Summary
The Next Plane Home: From the GlobalTeens account of Eunice Park – It is June 9. Eunice learns from her mother that her father is very mad at her, believing she has not protected her mystery. Her mother reminds her that she is American in name only, that the Americans owe everything to the Chinese, and being American isn’t what it used to be. Eunice decides to come home, but Sally tells her to stay in Rome and enjoy herself. Eunice then tells Grillbitch she has stopped seeing Ben because Ben is so handsome and is a rising star in Credit, making her feel unworthy. She then explains she would prefer to be with Lenny even though he is older and gross, because she doesn’t have to pretend to be something else with him, and can imagine herself...
