Cedar Lee
Cedar is a girl who is spending the summer in Iron Creek with her mother and brother, Miles. Cedar is a strong girl, but she is struggling with the loss of her father and brother, Ben, who were killed in a car wreck. Cedar feels their absence keenly, and she is dealing with her regrets as much as her grief. She regrets that she did not take time to know her father better and that she sometimes resented Ben, who was autistic and took a lot of the family's time and attention.
