Summary
In Act II, Chapter 19, Leo and Cedar discuss the fact that someone saw them. Leo says he does not have nearly all the money he needs for his London trip. He wants to go to London with his father because he wants his father to understand his interest in the theater. Cedar understands that need to connect. They routinely go to the bank to get change so they can split their earnings, and the teller always gives them a lollipop. Cedar leaves the lollipop on the windowsill that night, and it is gone the next morning.
In Act II, Chapter 20, Cedar overhears conversations while she is in the costume shop. The boys on bicycles are harassing Leo when she comes outside, and they pull their eyes into slits when the see Cedar, making fun of her ethnicity. Meg...
