The Giantess

In the eponymous story, the Giantess is an immeasurable living mass. The Giantess holds together the planets, stars, and the universe and calling this huge thing by one name might lead one to believe that there was a possibility of understanding or determining her size. The celestial beings in the afterlife explain that it was eons before they realized that the Giantess even existed. It was so large that they could not "see" it. Just like a worm deep in the earth knows nothing about the large planet that surrounds it.

After the beings in the afterlife discovered the Giantess, they decided that it would be beneficial to have a relationship with the Giantess. They made plans and devised an intricate way in which to send her a message. After the message was sent, it took literally years for the message to run through her vast system...
