Section 11: pages 213-246 Summary
In Act III, like all hotels in New York, the Hopewell has reported sights of Antoinette Hemmings' ghost, a girl who lost a role because of an illness and took pills, leaving a note for her roommate to call the paper because she was determined to be noticed. Unfortunately, she died because her roommate returned late.
In Punch in a Velvet Glove, Scarlett is miserable at the rehearsals since Spencer is not speaking to her, so by Friday morning, she invites him out to eat but he walks away. Later, when Scarlett jabs herself with a needle during rehearsal, Spencer agrees to go to dinner, but Scarlett cancels on her brother when Eric invites her out after rehearsal.
In That Is The Question, Eric and Scarlett hold hands as they go to the top of the Empire State Building...
