Section 3: pages 40-59 Summary

In A Guest Arrives, Scarlett meets Mrs. Amy Amberson, a somewhat eccentric woman, at the front desk, and Mrs. Martin informs Scarlett that Mrs. Amberson will be spending the summer in the Empire Suite. Scarlett rushes upstairs to air the room out with Mrs. Amberson on her heels, and after Scarlett gives her guest her cell phone number to contact her if she needs anything, Mrs. Amberson asks to call her O'Hara, insisting that they will be great friends.

In The Star, after Scarlett tells her sisters about her new guest, Chip's car picks them up, but Marlene is upset that he drops her and Scarlett off at the corner of 6th Street because she wanted her friends to see her exit a chauffeur driven car. In the studio, Scarlett is asked to be a volunteer on the show...
