Summary

Chapter 48 reveals that all of the individuals charged in the conspiracy plead guilty “on various charges” (362). Andrea and Jeff talk about the case and Andrea realizes that she could “never really love [Jeff] again, until she found a way to love herself” (364). At the police station, Detective Garmin is frustrated with the YouTube videos Kenny keeps publishing about the case. In the video, Kenny pushes for the public to come forward, even though the information he presents on the video the police know is not accurate. Andrea asks about who was working the night of Satku’s murder and an incident report recorded as “officer’s discretion” (370) by Luke Olson.
