Book 5: Chapter 34-37 Summary

Chapter thirty-four begins with Ashley waiting with Mo'amba. He pulls her into a place to hide and as they sit there one of the village elders, Sin'jari comes and sends several of his guards up the chute to where Ben is. Sin'jari says something and Mo'amba jumps out and faces Sin'jari. Sin'jari pulls out a knife and stabs Mo'amba several times before Ashley can stop him. Ashley is able to get the knife and Sin'jari goes up the shaft. Ashley lays beside a dying Mo'amba as several mimi'swee come in. They look at Ashley holding the bloody knife and she realizes that she has been framed for this murder.

Meanwhile one of the mimi'swee hunters tells Ben about a strange sound he heard. Ben realizes it is Jason and goes to get him. Once free, Jason shows him the...
