Summary
In Chapter 27, Sarai entered Lazlo’s dream of a sunlit Weep with no floating citadel. This was the second dream that had surprised her that night. The first was Thyon Nero’s dream, which was claustrophobic and unpleasant, in great contrast to his outer appearance. Lazlo’s beautiful dream greatly contrasted with his unattractive appearance. The fantasy creatures that roamed through Lazlo’s dream made Sarai smile. Then, she found Lazlo in his dream, which was common because most people manifest in their own dreams. Sarai found herself wishing that she could live in this dream world. Sarai heard Lazlo speak in his dream and found his voice endearing. Then, she realized that he spoke in the language of Weep.
