Epilogue Summary

Max and Bonnie get an annulment and a short time later Max becomes engaged to Edie. Edie gets involved in various charities. Brenda recovers from her injuries and receives a transfer to northern Florida where she moves in with Tile. Avila begins a new life as a Cuban refugee only to die a month later from the bite of a rabid rabbit. Levon Stichler suffers a heart attack and goes to live with his daughter. Neria Torres becomes the prime suspect in the murder of her husband, Tony. Augustine and Bonnie move in together on a small fishing island where Bonnie becomes a well known watercolorist.
