Chapter 19 Summary

Avila calls an escort service he remembers Snapper using in the past, hoping to find someone who remembers Snapper. Avila meets with a prostitute he previously met through Snapper and bribes her into telling him the next time she or her girlfriend hears from Snapper. Snapper happens to have the prostitute with him as Avila is talking to the other girl. Edie is annoyed because she feels that Snapper should be practicing for the arrival of Fred's supervisor with her instead of fooling around with a prostitute. Snapper, on the other hand, thinks Edie owes him one for messing up his knee with the crowbar.
