Harry Dresden

Full name: Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. Harry is a practicing wizard, the only professional one in the country, and certainly the only one in the Chicago phone book. One thing Harry really believes in is Magic; it is the only thing that has never let him down. He practices magic the way computer nerds work on computers. He works out of an office in mid-town Chicago and is seemingly always out of money. Harry, as with all wizards, has trouble around anything technological, and as a rule avoids such devices. His basement apartment with its subbasement is run without much electricity. He relies on candles, fire, and fuel lanterns. He showers with cold water because the water heater never works when he is around. Harry avoids elevators whenever possible, and drives a Blue Beetle because it is a basic enough car that his aura will not interfere...
