Chapters 25 - 27 Summary
Chapter 25 - Harry's sight of Victor Sells' lake house through his Third Eye reveals the abomination of power of an evil man. It also reveals that Sells practices powerful evil magic, but fails to practice more mundane things like not locking his door and not having an alarm system. Dresden is able to get into the house without any effort. Sells and the Beckitts are in the middle of a ceremony with a rabbit, around whose head is tied Harry's black hair. Harry breaks through Victor's magic circle with a mere film canister. It being a mortal thing, thrown by a real person; has the power to break the shielding circle of magic. The power of the spell roars freely through the room rather than being focused on killing Harry. Dresden's experience and training give him an advantage. Victor can only...
