Chapters 1 - 3 Summary

Chapter 1 - Storm Front is the story of the wizard, Harry Dresden. He struggles to maintain the laws of two conflicting worlds, his own human life in present-day Chicago, and the laws of the White Council in Nevernever, the realm of witches, wizards, faeries, demons, and more. Harry works to help his friend Lieutenant Karrin Murphy with a strange double homicide that has overtones of magic while staying out of the way of Morgan, the Warden of the White Council who is just waiting for Dresden to cross the line and break one of the Seven Laws of Magic. Being under the Doom of Damocles, Harry Dresden risks execution by sword for even a minor infraction. Trying to keep everyone happy and still stay alive becomes increasingly difficult for Harry Dresden.
