Central Council of the Midlands

The Central Council of the Midlands, located in Aydindril, is the governing body lead by the Mother Confessor. It is the Council's job to speak for each individual person in the Midlands with the Mother Confessor being the final say if needed. It is the Central Council that finds Kahlan guilty of treason and sentences her to death.

Stone of Tears.

A small stone in the shape of a tear. It is one of many things that helps to keep the Keeper trapped in his prison. Zedd finds the Stone of Tears and gives it to a small girl in the hopes that the Keeper won't be able to find it before Richard does.

Midlands

Place where much of the story takes place. The Midlands consists of many different nations and peoples. Most of the characters in the story come from the Midlands...
