Chapter 64-71 Summary

In chapter sixty-four, Sister Verna goes to see the Prelate. The Prelate explains that she picked Sister Verna as the last name on the list of the sisters to go and retrieve Richard because she knew that Sister Verna was too unimportant to be a Sister of the Dark. The Prelate is heartbroken telling these untrue things to Sister Verna but knows that it must be done.

Sister Liliana tells Richard she will help him and to meet her in the Hagen Woods, and she will come with what she needs to remove the collar. Richard goes back to his room before he leaves for the Hagen Woods and a young wizard, Perry, meets him there and asks to borrow Richard's red jacket to go to the city to visit a girl with whom he is in love.
