Summary

In Chapter 2, on the way home, Gwen gets a text from Absalom asking if she and her family are near Missoula. He indicates someone has posted something about that location and wants to know if he needs to provide a diversion. Whenever someone gets close to guessing their location, Gwen gets new cell phones and e-mail accounts. They move if there is a second close call. Gwen goes on alert a second time when she stops to check the mail and notices a man walking along the road. It is Sam from the range. He nods and walks past.
