Sessions 7-10 Summary
Annie tells her psychiatrist how the only bright moments on the mountain were when she was allowed to read to the Freak. Annie admits that her literary discussions with the Freak were quite enjoyable and allowed Annie a few minutes in which she was not afraid. Despite this, Annie continued to be brutalized each night and soon realized that she was pregnant. It was also about this time that Annie learns that the Freak was adopted by a woman with a strange sense of boundaries. Annie also learned that the Freak knew a great deal about her childhood, especially about events that took place shortly after her father and sister's deaths.
Annie talks with Nadine about her friend Christina in this session, of how she had always been pushy and take charge over Annie, but how this attitude began to wear...
