Phase 2, Parts 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 45 Summary
Leigh-Cheri and Bernard spend the following day together enjoying the sights and sensations of Hawaii, having a lot of good sex (see "Quotes," p. 108), and becoming frustrated with the increasing lack of organization and factional arguing at the Care Fest. Leigh-Cheri suggests to Bernard that they use his last remaining stick of dynamite to bomb what remains of the Care Fest. Bernard struggles to convince her that the targets of dynamite must be chosen carefully, and when she insists, he performs a demonstration of how terrifying dynamite is. Once she's finally convinced, he comforts her by taking her (and Gulietta) out on his yacht. As they watch the sunset, they talk about how difficult it is to be a princess, an outlaw, and a lover.
