Summary
Alina cleans out Inés’ room and she and Aurelio begin seeing a grief counselor to cope with the impending loss of Inés.
The pigeon eggs on Laura’s balcony hatch. Although she initially found them annoying and dirty, she found blankets to cover the babies and checked on them throughout the day. Seeing their first moments in the world brings her joy and satisfaction.
Doris’ apartment floods and Laura helps her clean it up. They go back to Laura’s apartment to have a drink together while Nicolás sleeps. Doris tells her how overwhelmed she is by her son and how she wishes she had more courage to go outside and experience the world. Laura resolves to help her in whatever small ways she can. Doris stays for hours and the pair continue chatting.
