Bert Cohen

The title page of Steal This Book lists Cohen as "accessory after the fact." He was the person who did the book's graphic design, giving it the look of an "underground newspaper" of the type published for little money by revolutionaries in the 1960s.

Lisa Fithian

Fithian wrote the foreword to the 2002 edition of the book. A long-time community activist, she is a member of the Direct Action Network and is involved in political issues. She has recently been in the news for her part in organizing protestors at the 2000 Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles, an act she shares in common with Hoffman's activities to mobilize the Yippie movement at the 1968 Chicago Democratic National Convention.
