Stay Sexy and Don’t Get Murdered is divided into eight chapters, plus an introduction and conclusion. Each chapter is further divided into two essays, one written by Georgia and one written by Karen. The co-authors write their sections separately and this structure is therefore an important aspect of how they handle the potential pitfalls of co-authorship. Karen has written the introduction and Georgia has written the conclusion. There are therefore no sections that the authors have written together. The closest the book gets to sharing both of their authorial voices in a single section is in the very short question-and-answer sections that end each chapter. These have the quality of an interview or conversation between the two authors and are more similar to a transcript than to traditional literary writing.
