Leo Borlock

Leo Borlock is first presented as an average 11th grader at Mica High. We are given hints that he is an average or above average looking young man. When we see him through Stargirl's eyes, he is described as cute. Leo dreams of being a sports announcer someday and seems comfortable in his own skin, but he seems a little more sensitive to his feelings and the feelings of others than most of the other characters in the novel. He also seems intuitive, sensing things will happen. Throughout the course of the novel we see him give in to the feelings of the students around him, in that he too is somewhat embarrassed by Stargirl.
