Chapter 26 Summary
Leo does not see Stargirl in the usual places at school. He does see Dori in the lunchroom, but Stargirl is not with her. Instead Dori is sitting with someone else. Later he hears Stargirl's voice in the hall and turns to where the voice is coming from. He then looks closely and sees Stargirl has transformed herself into someone who looks like every other popular girl in school. She wears fashionable clothes, earrings, even makeup. When Leo approaches her and says her name, she corrects him and says her name is Susan. Leo likes the change and describes their relationship as "gloriously ordinary." Instead of going about doing good deeds and acts of kindness Stargirl begins to love to shop, to do and say ordinary things.
