Chapters 16 - 17 Summary

At lunch the next day, Stargirl walks over to Leo and says, "You're Welcome." He assumes she means for the card he did not acknowledge. When she leaves, Kevin declares that Stargirl is in love with Leo. After school Leo walks to her homeroom, to the bus, everywhere, but can't find Stargirl. He overhears a group of girls saying that Stargirl has been kicked off the cheerleading squad. The girls also tease Leo and call him Starboy.

Later in the evening Leo goes to see where Stargirl lives. As he is standing outside of her house she exits the front door. They talk. They tease each other. Even the pet rat, Cinnamon shows some affection for Leo. As they say goodbye Leo wishes he could stay right there.

Kevin confirms to Leo that he is in love with Stargirl. Stargirl asks...
