Chapter 3 Summary

Conflict begins between Leo and Kevin in this chapter, as Kevin is upset with Leo for not setting up an interview with Stargirl for Hot Seat. We learn about how much Kevin and Leo have in common , so their conflict over this issue is worrisome. It seems to suggest that Leo is falling away from the normalcy and stability that Kevin offers. Meanwhile Stargirl continues her eccentric behavior. She laughs when there are no jokes. She dances when there is no music. She tells people she has no television. When Stargirl comes near to Leo he feels warm all day. He is clearly smitten with her. Hillari's theory about Stargirl changes.
