Summary

Eliana meets with Dr. wood and shows her a list of hurtful words that people have said to her. She writes the list down and keeps it in a casket-style box. She shows her all of the “Fat Girl Rules” that she has internalized. Eliana’s parents buy her a plane ticket to visit Viv for her birthday.

Catalina’s family invites Eliana to their house for an early Thanksgiving celebration since they will be spending the holiday in Mexico. Eliana enjoys the food and feels relaxed and happy when she returns home, a marked difference from how she feels after dinner at her house where she is always on edge.
