Tristran Thorn

Tristran Thorn is a young man from the village of Wall. Though he believes his parents to be Dunstan and Daisy Thorn, he comes to find that while Dunstan is his biological father, Daisy is not his biological mother. Tristran has always felt different in some ways from the other people in Wall, but never understood why. Tristran will find out in time that he is the son of his father Dunstan, a mortal, and a woman from the land of Faerie.

Tristran's adventures begin when he promises to fetch a fallen star for the young woman he loves, Victoria Forester. Victoria promises Tristran whatever he wishes if he returns with the star. Tristran sets off at once for Faerie to retrieve that star, meeting many interesting characters along the way. Once Tristran finds the star, he is startled to find that the star is a beautiful...
