Summary

Chapter 20 is divided into two parts. In the first, Billy and Summer go towards the buzzards. Then they notice a tarp and find a helicopter that they assume belongs to Baxter. Billy gets in it to try to sabotage it to prevent Baxter from leaving. Meanwhile, Summer runs towards the buzzards. She is afraid Dennis is the dead thing they have found. Billy tackles her and tells her to stop thinking that it could be Dennis.

In the second part, Billy says that he wonders about his father’s parents and how he had been told about their death. He worries about his mother because one never knows how an Uber passenger will be. Now he worries about his father. Billy and Summer find Dennis’ things scattered around and and see that the buzzards are circling two dead deer. Billy thinks that Baxter...
