Chapters 11 features “DOCUMENT 1” (131) from Sumire's disk, titled “DID YOU EVER SEE ANYONE SHOT BY A GUN WITHOUT BLEEDING” (131). She explains that she uses writing as a means of thinking through confusing things and determining who she is as a person. She states that there are always known and unknown things in a person's mind, “like Siamese twins, inseparable, existing in a state of confusion” (134). She says that sometimes the known and the unknown collide, and that this is a disturbing experience.
