Phoenix Stone

The phoenix stone is a blood opal that was cursed by its first owner when she was burned for being a witch. Everyone who has owned the stone has been driven insane and suffered a death by fire. However, if the stone is stolen by a child, one with the same birthdate as the original owner, the curse is transferred to the child. It is for this reason Cassandra attempts to encourage either Lizzie Rose or Parsefall to steal the stone. Instead, it is Clara who takes the stone and destroys it.
