Chapter Thirteen Summary

Christian passionately explains turning Strigoi into their former states could be the biggest thing that ever happened to their kind. Lissa eventually agrees she could learn how to do it if Christian would but show her how to train for such an encounter. He agrees. Both lovers want to make up, but circumstances and wounded pride prevent them from speaking the obvious desire each has to keep their relationship alive. Rose is frustrated by the one-way nature of her ability to read Lissa's mind but not in reverse. Rose wants to shout out to Lissa not to do it, but Lissa agrees to Christian's training.
