Home before Dark Summary

The Martian replicators launch from an American site with the blessings of President Lomax but under much criticism from other nations and organizations. The end of the world was fast approaching and the Spin membrane started to give sporadic signs of disturbance by flickering for a few hours at a time. Tyler leaves Perihelion and goes back to practice as a regular doctor, but stays in contact with Jason. Years after the launch, the replicators were already an organized colony spanning several galaxies. At first, the replicators started to send back faint signals of their existence. Jason reports to Tyler that even though the information received from the replicators network is limited, it will undoubtedly improve as the network expands and it may well give important clues as to the nature and motives of the Hypotheticals.
