Summary
In Chapter 27, two weeks after David was found guilty, Brooke’s siblings and other members of her family got letters in the mail detailing Brooke’s interview with Child Services at her high school. The letter made it look like David had been unfairly found guilty. Brooke wanted to find out who had sent out the letters, but Jason insisted that she not do so. He said anyone who felt the need to question her story based on the letter was not worthy of an explanation.
