Summary

Chapter 20 - Bernie checks her phone and sees that Chee had sent her pictures from the museum hours before. She goes there looking for him. She spots his car and has the security guards let her in. She finds Chee’s phone and traces of his blood in Dr. Davis's office. Bernie alerts the police and goes looking for Chee, deciding to check Ellie’s storage unit. She finds Chee, who is tied up, and Dr. Davis. Davis manages to shoot Bernie with the Taser. As Bernie is incapacitated, Davis explains that she’s going to take all of the original ceramics that Ellie stole, and destroy any evidence that could be used to link Ellie to her.
